We all know how it feels to be “trapped” within our mind, lost and imprisoned by our thoughts. 

The ultimate goal of yoga is to reach liberation of the mind; to unlock peace and freedom within.

This goal can feel hopeless at times. We all know what it’s like to feel defeated in our own bodies.

But we don’t have to stay defeated.  

In my experience, there is no shortcut to peace. But there are consistent steps one can take toward liberation. And it begins with connection.  

Connection between each breath and movement

Connection between your feet and the earth each morning.

Connection with your best friend, neighbor, partner.

Connection with something higher than us all. 

Using connection in our sessions will elevate us past the physical aspects of yoga and into the deeper elements the practice offers.

Together, we’ll dance through the inner and outer layers of self, and break through the confines of our humanness. 

Together, we will begin the path to yoga.
